A Note of Welcome From Mayor Orange
On behalf of the citizens of Cheatham County, let me welcome you to our beautiful, historic county. We wish to express appreciation for your consideration of our County as a prospective home for your future business investment. There has been a great awakening within the County as to our tremendous growth potential and all the benefits that growth can bring. Cheatham County has much to offer new businesses. Located only twenty minutes from downtown Nashville, we are accessed by Interstate 40 to the South, Interstate 24 to the North and a four-lane highway through the central regions of the County.
The vast expansion around Nashville has brought a wonderful mix of people to our county. We have a growing population of young professionals and skilled labor force individuals. We also have a commodity that is becoming very rare--Land! Cheatham County has what you need for your business--location, excess work force and land. We are at work bringing about the necessary infrastructure to meet the needs of the ever growing demands for commercial development.
One of the best things about Cheatham County is the quiet lifestyle it provides. Rural and convenient, we offer great schools, recreation, and genuine hospitality. I like to refer to Cheatham County as being "Close to everything, away from it all."
