  1. The Trustee's office serves as the county banker with three primary functions:
  2. To collect all county property taxes (all property, real, personal, tangible and intangible).
  3. To keep a fair regualr account of all money received.
  4. To invest temporarily idle county funds.

Taxes for 2007 are due and payable beginning October 1, 2007 through February 28, 2008.

The Trustee's office adminsisters a State Funded Tax Relief Program to the elderly, disabled, and disabled veterans. Also, the Trustee's office administers a County Funded Tax Relief Program for elderly citizens. Applications must be filed no later that 35 days after the February 28th tax payment deadline.
