Welcome to Cheatham County

We want you to come see us and see the beauty we see daily. We have 2 amazing rivers The Cumberland & The Harpeth. Please come, enjoy the Harpeth or the Cumberland, fishing, swimming, watersports for all ages. Camping locations to enjoy as well, the Harpeth River Campground or Lock A on the Cumberland. Head to Cheatham Dam and hang out on the beach, or a bike ride. Don’t forget the 20,000 plus acres of the Cheatham WMA for you to enjoy. Take a walk on the trail in Ashland City or just enjoy a quiet evening at River bluff park.

We are a short drive from anywhere in middle Tn and have recreational opportunities for you, from Kingston Springs to Pleasant View our parks have splash pads, tennis courts, pickleball courts and disc golf courses located at many park locations throughout the county. Take a drive through the rolling hillside of a back country road, stop off at one of our local markets and grab a snack, or come to our farmers market in Ashland City. Restaurants take your pick on what you would like to eat, from Italian to Sushi to delicious down home cooking, we have it here in Cheatham County.

We would love to see you at the Car Shows in Pleasant View and Ashland City, or the Rodeo and County fair, what about listening to some great music at Summerfest or Creekers Ball, these are a few yearly events. There is always something exciting and adventurous happing here in Cheatham County come be apart of the fun and become part of Team Cheatham!!!
