Solid Waste Good Friday Holiday Closing

The scales on Sam’s Creek Road will be closed on Friday April 18,2025 in observance of good Friday. All convenience and recycling centers will be open on this day. All convenience and recycle centers will be closed on Sunday April 20, 2025 in observance of Easter Sunday. All centers will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Monday morning. Household Hazardous Waste Day
The Solid Waste department will be hosting a household hazardous waste day. The event will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Sycamore Square, located at 350 Frey Street Ashland City Tn 37015. This is a free event sponsored by Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Paint will not be accepted at this event. Oil base paint is accepted daily at our Sam’s Creek Road facility. This will serve notice that the Cheatham County Beer Board will meet when called on the second Saturday of each month in 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sycamore Square Complex, David McCullough Meeting Room at 334 Frey Street, Ashland City, Tennessee.
