Patrol

Patrol consists of four squads working 24/7/365 days a year. Each squad is led by a shift supervisor. All squads are commanded by a Lieutenant.

Jail

The Cheatham County Jail is operated 24/7/365 days a year. After hours, phone calls will be directed to the jail. If you have a question not related to the jail, your call will be directed to administration. If it’s an urgent call, please contact Dispatch at (615) 792-2098. No packages accepted for inmates.

Criminal Investigation Division (CID)

CID investigates many crimes throughout the county from homicides to vandalism. An Investigator is always on call and works closely with the public and the District Attorney’s Office in the detection and solving of felony crimes. CID is commanded by a Lieutenant.

Drug Enforcement

Cheatham Sheriff’s Office works in cooperation with the 23rd Judicial Drug Task Force covering Cheatham, Dickson, Humphreys, Houston and Stewart counties.
